O Lord, You are

O Lord, you are my mighty shield,
You protect me from my foe.
Onto the spiritual battlefield
Before me You will go.

O Lord, You are my solid tower,
You guard me from all ill.
You keep me by Your awesome power,
And guide me by Your will.

O Lord, You are my firmest rock,
You save me from all harm.
Though many may come to scorn and mock,
Strong and Steadfast is Your arm.

O Lord, You are my hope and stay,
My safety from God’s wrath.
You show me love, each passing day,
Deep love which never stops.

O Lord, You are my Heavenly King,
You rule me from Your throne.
To You, my heart must always cling,
To You, and You alone.
